I am writing this post as a combination of AWOL academy, Full Stack Marketer and Keala Kanae reviews since I have a personal experience with Keala Kanae’s marketing strategy and training program. Keala Kanae is known as an established and successful affiliate marketing guru and is currently sharing his success and experience by selling online education programs. Before I move on to the keala Kanae reviews, I just want to say that everything I write in this post is based on my own experience and it’s ALL 100% genuine.
Keala Kanae’s Free Webinar
A few years ago, I came across a YouTube ad where Keala Kanae was promoting a Freelance Marketing course which appeared to be very convincing. I clicked on the link and signed up for the free webinar and affiliate marketing secrets PDF. As most of you already know, webinars are usually just a sales pitch and don’t provide any value but I found this webinar very different. It was packed with valuable information and contains a lot of golden nuggets. It defined affiliate marketing, email marketing and lead generation, profit and loss calculations, funnels, paid Facebook ads, unique product selections, etc. I thought to myself, if this guy is providing such valuable content in a free webinar, I bet his paid training program is going to be 10 times better. A couple of days later and after receiving TONS of email sequences from him, I decided to join the training for just $99.
After logging in to the main dashboard, I had to go through a questionnaire to provide more details about me, my experience, and future goals. After completing this process, I was directed to a 3 hour LONG video where Keala Kanae repeated the SAME information that was given in the free webinar. He also discussed the AWOL Academy’s training modules and how it’s going to change my life if I enroll for a discounted price of $10,000. In conclusion, I paid $99 to watch Keala Kanae’s SALES PITCH!
Keala Kanae’s Support Team and Refunds
After completing that sales video, I received text messages from an AWOL coach who wanted to set up a phone call to discuss my future options. Out of frustration, I ignored their messages and I sent an email to the support team DEMANDING a refund. I also requested to get the initial PRO academy 101 course since it was a free bonus as promised by Keala Kanae. To be fair, the support team acted fast and sent me the refund within a couple of days plus they kept my access to the dashboard so I can view the PRO academy module. They also gave me access to a mindset module which shows the 5 pillars of a successful entrepreneur. After watching the videos in this module, I realized that this program was designed to be a cult and not just an online training.
Even though I respect the professionalism of the AWOL support team, I still feel like that Keala Kanae’s marketing strategy is dirty and unethical. I wonder how many innocent newbies were dragged into paying $10,000 by these filthy AWOL coaches and I don’t understand how they can charge such a HIGH price for a freaking online course.
I’ve heard about Keala Kanae’s Fullstaq Marketer training program and so out of curiosity, I did some research to find out what it’s all about…guess what I’ve discovered? Fullstaq Marketer is just another product launch for the SAME old modules that were available in the AWOL academy. I’m sure they’ve improved the modules and added new videos but technically, it’s the same SH!%. The only difference is that this time, the price was cut in half. To get the complete training (Elite Package) will cost you around $5000 – $6000 instead of $10,000. So if you’re an AWOL student and waited a bit longer…you would’ve got the updated and improved version for 50% OFF. This should give you an idea of how these so called “affiliate marketing gurus” operate and how much they’re willing to do to take your money. Most likely, AWOL academy reached its maximum potential and so now it’s time to target a different segment of sheep. To be honest, I found Keala Kanae’s teaching skills to be excellent and I’m sure that the Fullstaq Marketer modules provide high quality training.
The only 2 issues I have with Keala Kanae are his overpriced courses and his sneaky and non-transparent promotional tactics.
Keala Kanae’s training modules concentrates a lot on email marketing/lead generation and that’s why I actually think this training is more suitable for email marketers. I also think that building an email list for newbies is not going to be an effective strategy to start with since no one knows the newbies’ brand and therefore, I don’t recommend this training program to any affiliate marketing beginner.
